We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled student assistant to contribute to the setup and maintenance of a 5G Open RAN testbed. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of telecommunications and wireless networking. Testbed Setup: Assist in the setup and configuration of a 5G Open RAN testbed infrastructure. Collaborate with team members to deploy Open RAN components and integrate them into the testbed. Configuration and Optimization: Configure and optimize the testbed for various 5G use cases and scenarios. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the testbed configuration. Documentation: Document the testbed setup process, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures. Create user manuals for future reference and knowledge transfer. Collaboration: Collaborate with researchers and engineers to understand project requirements and contribute to achieving project goals. Participate in regular team meetings and provide updates on the progress of the testbed setup. |
Voraussetzungen: |
• Enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. • Familiarity with 5G networking concepts and protocols. • Basic understanding of Open RAN architecture, components and also Experience with Linux-based systems. • Basic programming skills in languages such as Python or Shell scripting. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. |
