Amateur Radio Research Group - University of Kaiserslautern
Welcome to the Amateur Radio Research Group at the Kaiserslautern University of Technology in Kaiserslautern, Germany. We are a young group of students, Ph.D. students, postgraduates and University staff from different faculties all over the campus, such as Chemistry, Physics, Electrical Engineering and Economics.
DLØXK is our amateur radio club station located right on the campus of the University. We have two shacks: A small one for shortwave and a larger one where everything else takes place, including the group gatherings.
Our interests are as diverse as our members. Consequently we do not focus solely on "classic" ham radio operation. Electronics in general, especially wireless communications, HF propagation and meteorological observations are just some of our major interests. Nevertheless we all share the passion for amateur radio wich not only enables us to experiment with high frequencies, but gives us the opportunity to communicate with other hams all around the globe.
