Foreign Internships

 

The internship is another form of foreign student exchange. You can chose between:

  • European internships 
  • Global internships

Here you find a model internship agreement for your use, if appropriate.


European internships with Erasmus

 

 

Requirements

  • Enrollment at the Technische Universität Kaiserslautern
  • Duration of the internship at least 3 at most 12 months
  • The internship must take place in one of the member states of the EU, Turkey, Island, Liechtenstein and Norway
  • The internship must be full-time with explicit reference to your studies

 

 

Support 

  • The study abroad grant is presently valued at about €350.00 per month
  • If it is a paid internship, the EU-ServicePoint reserves the right to the reduce the amount of the grant

 

 

Guidance and Information

The TU Kaiserslautern works in concert with the EU-ServicePoint in Mainz, which offers the following Services:

  • General counseling about internships abroad in European countries 
  • Organizational support before, during and after the internship 
  • Grant approval 
  • Recognition

 


Global internships

 

Information about internships in countries outside of Europe can be obtained from AIESEC/IAESTE or from "Materials Science in Mainz" aimed at Master and PhD-Students in the field of materials science.
