Projects under the 7th EU framework program

The seventh framework program for research and technology development (FP7) is the main instrument of the EU for the promotion of European research. It lasts for the period from 2007 to 2013 and has a total budget of more than 50 billion euros.

FP7 is oriented on the needs of society and the competitiveness of Europe and supports research in selected fields in which the EU is or should be established as a global leader.
