Pillar I – Building New Excellence

One of the main goals of developing the profile in the field of research is to integrate and foster junior researchers. This process is implemented and continuously improved within the framework of the first pillar of the university development model.

This includes providing the optimal working conditions to interest outstanding young scientists to join the staff. Specific steps in the area of individual initiatives are intended to enable the researchers to perform independent research and to be integrated as a "principal investigator." An expanded mentoring program to assist the group leaders is also among the supported activities at the TU.
