09.06.2010 – EU Grants

The EU Liaison Office at TU Kaiserslautern and KOWI (EU assoiation for German research organizations) organized an information day on campus to present the 7th EU framework program for research and technology (RP7). After a brief abstract of RP7, the event focused on the EU mobility program (Marie Curie Grants).

In a presentation on the mobility program, Ms. Fuchs from the KOWI liaison office in Bonn, emphasized support measures available to individuals, the so-called "individual grants." These are fellowship grants for post doctorals or researchers with at least 4-years of experience.

At the conclusion, a question and answer period covered the range of EU research funding.
