Pillar IV – Research Centers
The fourth pillar addresses the implementation of measures to develop and network existing excellence. This involves the support of research centers.
Research centers are formed through major joint ventures which create collaborative research projects and, to a certain extent, contribute to international recognition of the research. One of the important sub-goals of these centers is the successful acquisition of projects with respect to national and international funding support programs of excellence.
