Applying and registration as PhD candidate

An application form must be completed by doctoral candidates as part of the registration process.

The Online application form may be used and then submitted along with the required documentation to TU Kaiserslautern.

If your entrance qualifications were issued in another country, use the  online application for foreign candidates.

Enclose the following documents with your application:

• Officially certified copies of the qualifying degrees
• Statement by the Chair of the respective faculty
• Completed declaration of professional activity (Download form)
• Proof of health insurance (see Health Insurance pamphlet)
• Postal stamp worth 1.45 euros.
• Signed request for enrollment with passport photo (delivered by registered mail).

Send the completed application with the required supporting documents to the address shown below or, deliver it in person to the SSC:
