Advisory Board

The University Advisory Board serves as a link between the university and society. It takes a position vis-à-vis the Senate on all questions of fundamental importance, in particular on teaching and research reports, on transfers of research results into practice, on advanced scientific education and on the university’s budget.

The Advisory Board has a total of 13 members, who are either members of the university community or participate as representatives of important social institutions or groups such as the parliament of the State of Rheinland-Pfalz  and the German Association of Trade Unions (DGB).
