eLearning
Blackboards and chalk have not vanished completely from our university, but for several years now, they have been augmented in numerous ways by digital educational media. The e-Teaching Service Center (eTSC), which is a part of the Distance and Independent Studies Centers (DISC) at TU Kaiserslautern, is responsible for the management of teaching and learning by means of online-based concepts and modern teaching technologies.
Various e-learning formats and tools which can be tailored for specific teaching/learning objectives are available to students and teachers – from graphic training aids to online-based tutorials; from classic learning management systems to Web 2.0 applications like Wikis, Blogs, and Podcasts.
Some examples of successful e-Learning concepts and additional information related to the range of services in the area of e-Learning is provided on the web pages of the eTeaching Service Centers.
