Kaiserslautern Goes Global

As an interface between faculties, the university's executive committee and national constitutions such as the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the International School for Graduate Studies (ISGS) is the central medium to support conception, accreditation and establishing international programs. As a university-wide cross-faculty structure, it coordinates activities and programs at the graduate level.

In order to support internationalization, ISGS services for the faculties focus on the support of international joint projects in teaching, studies, and research as well as international marketing of graduate programs and research training.

To achieve these challenges, we care for students and scientists coming to Kaiserslautern, and we promote the international (post)graduate programs and research opportunities on higher education fairs in foreign countries, in online-databases for student enquiries. Further, we create and distribute publications (online and print) in different languages.

In order to support the faculties, ISGS offers a pre-selection and coordinates the admission process. After this procedure, ISGS arranges formalities and provides advisory support for prospective students.
