To what extent do new forms of Lean Organization contribute to surmount the economic structural crisis in Rhineland-Palatinate? Research is focused on the identification of central issues of change towards Lean Organization, thereby supporting modernization and improvement of competitiveness.
Applied to selected enterprises, a combined quantitative and qualitative survey is used to analyze the primary factors restraining and promoting organizational change in terms of specifics in enterprise, classification of size, and line of business.
