Employees with relatives in need of care

More and more people are caring for family members at home. Therefore, TUK supports the the balance between care and study/occupation.

At least until December 31st 2021, leave with continued payment of remuneration shall be granted for up to 20 working days per close relative in need of care if the acute care situation is related to the COVID 19 pandemic and care cannot be ensured in any other way, e.g. due to the official closure of an inpatient care facility or the failure of an outpatient care service. Any leave already granted beforehand for the same purpose pursuant to Section 31 (3) sentence 1 half-sentence 1 UrlVO shall be counted.

Literature and guides are available from the staff unit's office. Current lectures are under News.

A quick overview when care is needed is found here.
