Ada Lovelace Project
The Ada Lovelace Project is a nationwide mentoring network to attract girls and women to science and technology; since 1997 it has been located at almost every university in Rhineland-Palatinate.
The Ada Lovelace Project relies on role models: Female students of technical-scientific courses and young women in technical training occupations inform, advise and support interested schoolgirls. In workshops and working groups, the mentors work together with the pupils on specific technical and scientific tasks and thus promote the girls' self-confidence in dealing with technology and natural sciences.
