Tuition fees

At TUK, you pay the so-called social contribution fee per semester. The contribution includes the costs of the student union, the student organization AStA, and for the student ticket which provides access to the regional public transportation net.
The first degree (studies up to the first professional qualification, in the case of consecutive Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes up to the second professional qualification) is generally free of charge.

Social contribution fee

The social contribution fee is payable for enrolment at TUK and thereafter whenever you wish to continue your studies and thus re-register.

The social contribution fee is broken down as follows:

Student union    89,00 €
AStA    12,00 €
Public transportation ticket (VRN Semesterticket + Westpfalz)      136,41 €

At the time of enrolment, an additional EUR 8.00 will be charged for the issuance of the student chip card. Students in distance study programmes do not have to pay for the public transportation ticket and the chip card.

From winter semester 18/19 in total   EUR 237.41.

Social contribution fee for students in distance study degree programmes

Deadline for re-registration

You can find the re-registration deadline in the dates for a semester. Prior to the re-registration period, you will receive a remittance slip stating the current amount.

Please note that for bank transfers from abroad, all bank charges are to be paid by the student, so that the amount plus bank charges has to be paid.
