Lectures, seminars and exercises within the range of courses offered by the departments are also open to guests. In order to attend these events, guests are required to show a guest student pass, which clearly indicates what event will be attended.
The courses offered can be viewed online in the KIS course catalogue.
Those interested can apply for a guest student pass provided their previous knowledge enables them to follow the courses. The application has to be submitted to the Student Affairs Office prior to the beginning of the courses of the respective semester.
Admission can only be granted if places are available in the desired courses.
The approved application as a guest student entitles to attend specified classes for the entire semester. A guest student pass will be issued as proof of identity. Only the courses listed therein can be attended with this pass.
The courses attended as a guest will not credited towards a degree programme according to examination or PhD regulations - guest students are not allowed to take part in examinations. Only a certificate of attendance can be issued for these registered courses.
