UNISPECTRUM is the magazine of the University of Kaiserslautern. It apears four times a year with a circulation of approximately 10,000 copies. This magazine reports on events at the university, research and teaching, student life and special achievements of members of the university community.
The editorial office of UNISPECTRUM is always thankful for pointers and suggestions for topics, and will be even more thankful when it receives a finished manuscript from you. We have written out a few rules below. These should serve as guidelines and make it easier for you to write.
Please send us your text by email to thjung[at]verw.uni-kl.de. Please do not invest too much effort in the optical appearance of your text (e.g. justified lines, special fonts, decorative elements such as grids and lines, etc.) because it is going to look different anyway when it is set! Please always send all images as separate files. Captions should be placed at the end of the text. Please do not forget to include the name of the author at the end of the text!
Every text should be illustrated with pictures.
The length of an article should not exceed the limit of 2,500 letters including blanks.
To make your article more interesting you can add one ore two photos, drawings and charts (min. 300 dpi).
