Project Phases

  • Phase 1: Analyze
The Analysis Phase begins with the preparatory work, like state of the art in autonomous driving, machine learning, software development and communication protocols. Furthermore, based on the project requirement, the scope of the project is defined. Afterwards, this phase is ended by validation and verification of the requirements in order to recommend solutions.

  • Phase 2: Plan
The planning phases specifies the work packages and sub-work packages, described in detail, including the timeframes and the cost. The entire schedule of the activities and detailing their sequence of implementation must be defined, indicating who will do what work, at which time, and if any special skills are needed to accomplish the project tasks. Furthermore, the communication strategy with all project stakeholders must be specified.

  • Phase 3: Design
Making a concept and design a digital twin for traffic system, using knowledge graphs and big data, gathered by sensor on the car. Designing algorithms capable of learning, especially for the application areas of highly accurate localization and early damage detection (i.e. health monitoring using the methods of predictive maintenance). Designing the digital infrastructure required for this, in particular Car2Cloud interface at the protocol level.

  • Phase 4: Implement
Using the results from tests in a simulated environment and practical field, knowledge is gathered for all aspects of the project. Algorithms will be optimized and models will be improved based on the data acquired from the sensors and devices, supporting all the services of the digital twin. Afterwards, an user interface will enable the users to interact with of the digital twin and see the results of the services offered.
