You want to take part in shaping the digitalized world of tomorrow? Then, Embedded Computing Systems (ESY) is the field you need to be in. We offer hands-on practical education in embedded systems design and at the same time provide you with the scientific foundations of this field. Students seeking a strong educational basis for their industrial career as well as students with scientific ambitions will find this program to meet their expectations.
We welcome applications from graduates in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and Mathematics as well as related disciplines.

- Automation and Control (A&C) (M. Sc.)
Automation and Control (A&C) deals with steering and controlling of complex systems such as production lines, distributed grids, or on-chip / on-board architectures. Safety and security are two fundamental design paradigms for this discipline.
During your master studies here at TUK, you will gain deep knowledge in the areas of control theory, modeling and identification, development of safe and secure systems, and mechatronic systems. Also for A&C you can select from a wide range of elective courses.

- European Masters in Embedded Computing Systems (EMECS) (M. Sc.)
EMECS is a two years Master`s course (120 ECTS credits) that is pursued at two or more of the participating institutions:
> Technische Universität Kaiserslautern, Germany
> Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Norway
> University of Southampton, UK
> Politecnico di Torino, Italy
Students spend study periods of six months or longer at the selected universities and upon successful completion receive a joint degree from all universities of the consortium. The program is designed to educate Bachelor graduates from Electrical & Computer Engineering and Computer Science as well as graduates from related disciplines to become experts in the field of Embedded Computing Systems.

Master in Cognitive Science (M.Sc.)
This research-focused international Master´s program emphasizes the interdisciplinary aspects of cognitive science. It highlights the links between psychology, biology, neuroscience, linguistics, computer science, and philosophy of mind.
Graduates of the program can pursue careers in academic, clinical, or industrial settings such as research, lab management, software engineering, consumer behavior analysis, human-machine interaction, rehabilitation, system development, and much more. All courses are taught in English. After two basic modules in the first semester you will be asked to choose three areas of specialization.
The areas of specialization are:
- Cognition and Knowledge
- Language and Linguistics
- Cognitive Neuroscience
