Europäisches Kompetenz- und Wissenszentrum für Grenzraumforschung (Border Studies)
The European Competence and Knowledge Center for Border Studies is a cross-border thematic network of scientists from the UniGR universities who conduct research on borders and border region issues. The partners of the project are RPTU: Prof. Pallagst (coordinator for RPTU), Prof. Troeger-Weiss (Chair of Regional Development and Spatial Planning), Dr. Monika Haberer (DISC) as well as the office of the UniGR - Center for Cross Border Studies (project management) and researchers from Trier University, Saarland University, Luxembourg University, Liège University and the University of Lorraine. The project will run for three years (approval December 2017; project start 2018). The client is the EU INTERREG V A program.
