Peer critique group for scientific writing in English

What?

Each meeting we discuss and critique the draft of (part of) one journal article or dissertation chapter or poster from a member of the group, and give advice on how to improve it according to principles of excellent scientific writing in English. We receive the draft (about 10 pages) a few days earlier and read it before the meeting.

Why?

Critiquing others’ writing, and receiving critique on your own writing, is one of the most effective ways to improve your writing. Previous members have experienced a significant improvement in the quality of their writing, as well as in their confidence and ease in writing. Come and try it!
