There are many ways to stay in touch with your university

We are delighted if you stay in touch with the TUK even after your studies.

Register with the central alumni network TUKAN to receive regular news about the TUK.

The TUK Alumni Network (TUKAN) is the central interdisciplinary alumni network of the TU Kaiserslautern.

Registration with TUKAN is free of charge and offers you access to the alumni offers of the TUK.

Your opportunities to stay in touch with the TUK

  • free registration in the TUK Alumni Network (TUKAN)
  • become a member of the alumni association of your faculty
  • become a member of the Friends of the TU Kaiserslautern
  • active involvement as a lecturer, mentor, etc.

To stay even closer to your faculty, you can also join the alumni association of your faculty.

At the TUK there are alumni associations in the following faculties:

Department of Civil Engineering
Department of Chemistry
Department of Informatics
Department of Mechanical and Process Engineering
Department of Physics
Department of Spatial and Environmental Planning
Department of Business Studies and Economics

The membership fees in the associations vary. In some faculties, a free temporary junior membership is possible after completion of the studies.

The contact persons of the alumni associations and faculties are at your disposal for specific questions about membership and everything else concerning the respective alumni association.

Further information on the activities of the faculties that do not have an alumni association but nevertheless provide an alumni offer can be found here:

Department of Mathematics

The alumni associations are organized as subsections of the Friends of the TU Kaiserslautern. In this case, membership in the circle of friends is automatically included, which also receives a share of the annual membership fee.

The Friends of the TUK support the cultural and social activities of the university and promote young scientists. Membership is also possible irrespective of membership in an alumni association.
